Reduce for the future
The textile industry is one of the most polluting, with greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated at every stage of its life cycle, from the production of raw materials to the transportation and care of garments.
With this in mind, Horse Pilot conducted a carbon audit to better understand its environmental impact and identify its main sources of emissions. This audit allowed us to establish concrete reduction targets and regularly monitor our progress, demonstrating our commitment to a sustainable and transparent approach.

Act on the impact of transport
Our products travel from the factories to our warehouse in Cysoing (59) mainly by boat. It's slower, but it's more responsible.
We import less, but better. Transport is planned and consolidated. The result: reduced emissions and products available year-round, online and in our saddlery stores.
Once our products are in stock, they are distributed throughout Europe, to saddleries or to end customers, by road. By consolidating our dealers' orders, we reduce the number of rounds. Fewer trips, less impact.

Less waste, more awareness
At Horse Pilot, waste management is a priority. We recycle both our everyday and textile waste, while maximizing the value of materials through reuse practices integrated into our production.
Airbag gas cartridges can be placed in our in-store collection points to ensure optimal recycling.
Our upcycled collections give new life to used textiles, contributing to a more circular and sustainable approach. By 2030, we have set ourselves the ambitious goal of zero textile waste in our warehouse.
