Key figures in 2024:

Environmentally friendly and certified materials
On our website, each product page provides essential details about the materials used, associated labels, and packaging choices. This approach allows our customers to fully understand the environmental impact of their purchases, promoting responsible and informed consumption.
80% of the materials we use are Oeko-Tex® certified, a label guaranteeing the absence of substances harmful to the environment and consumer health, in accordance with European Reach directives.
Horse Pilot also uses recycled fiber materials, such as polyester and nylon, to design more responsible products.

Durable and repairable products
We offer a repair service in our workshop in Cysoing. This service allows our customers to extend the lifespan of their equipment by reducing waste. Whether it's a zipper, a seam, or a button, we do everything we can to give Horse Pilot products a new lease of life.
In 2024, more than 435 products were repaired, including 115 directly in our workshop . This service does not stop at a simple repair: it reflects our commitment to more responsible fashion, which favors maintenance and sustainability rather than systematic renewal.
By extending the lifespan of products, we limit their environmental footprint. A simple gesture that makes all the difference for more responsible consumption.

Second hand
With Ride Again, we've created a platform dedicated to buying and selling used Horse Pilot items. Accessible from our website, it offers a new, more responsible and engaged way to consume by passing your gear from rider to rider.
On Ride Again, you'll find products offered by Horse Pilot, such as items with minor defects from sales tours or photo shoots, as well as ads from individuals looking to give their equipment a second life.
Since its launch, 450 pre-owned products have already been sold. Each transaction helps reduce waste and limit the environmental impact of our industry, while strengthening the equestrian community around shared values: a passion for horses and respect for our planet.

Upcycled collection
At Horse Pilot, eco-responsibility isn't limited to our raw materials. We transform imperfect products and excess inventory into unique pieces. By 2024, more than 250 upcycled accessories had been created.
We have chosen to recycle used trousers, transforming them into fanny packs, thanks to our partnership with Homonoia , a French company pioneering upcycling.
We also launched an initiative in collaboration with Les Papillons Blancs de Roubaix-Tourcoing and the ESAT de Wattrelos , to transform defective trousers into stirrup protectors . In 2023, 90 trousers found a new life, giving rise to 390 pouches , all made by people with disabilities.
